My name is Haley Gonzales. I am a 15-year old 9th grader from Long Island. I recently qualified to compete at the US Marine Corps National Wrestling Championships in Fargo, ND. The competition takes place from July 13th-22nd.

This is the biggest Olympic Style wrestling tournament in the world. Competing in this tournament is a critical step towards reaching my goals. However, like many things in life, I cannot do this alone. It will take the help of family, coaches, teammates, and community to help me accomplish all I have set out to do.

The cost for me to be able to compete in this tournament is $3,000. This includes entry fee, mandatory uniform, air travel to and from North Dakota, and lodging. Any financial assistance you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
