James Edward Clark is a award winning Canadian artist.

Pissant Apocalypse is James' third book. His first book, EVIL Comics, was serialized while he was working full time at a factory.
Pissant Apocalypse started off as the seed of an idea in his sketchbook as he was finishing up the art for Tales to Enlighten.
The big yellow protagonist took shape and took hold of James' imagination. James paired the character with other figures from his sketchbook and pieced together the first issue of Pissant Apocalypse which he published in 2021 as a mini-comic zine that was only available packaged together with one of his art commissions.
Originally intended as just a one shot, James was able to expand the story and world to an entire 170+ page graphic novel with was printed over 5 mini-comic zines.
Pissant Apocalypse started as the germ of an idea in James' sketchbook. Expanded into a full graphic novel.
James is now reaching out to you through kickstarter, asking for your support to help fund a beautiful 5 by 7.5 inch trade paperback edition for Pissant Apocalypse that will make it more widely available to the public for the first time.

As mentioned before Pissant Apocalypse was originally printed in 5 mini-comic zines. upon completing the fifth issue of Pissant Apocalypse James went through and revised a large portion of the book, adding about 12 pages and revamping some existing pages completely.
James is reprinting the original 5 issues of Pissant Apocalypse in their original form and offering them for the completist who wants to own everything James Edward Clark has produced.
This campaign will be the last time James will be reprinting these zines. They will be retired after them once Trade Paperback is published. making these a extremely rare collectors idem! Get Pissant Apocalypse printed in it's original form, 5 mini-comic zines added on to your order!

Scissors (2016) with writer Q. McKoy
James' first paid comic work. He was approached by writer Q McKoy to draw this short and sweet love story between two young ladies. it was Nominated for Broken Pencils' 2016 zine awards for best zine.
A piece produced in the lead up to them release of Tales To Enlighten. James and writer Matt King tell a funny and poignant story through allegory about the challenges and tribulations of being an artist and the creative process
in 2021 writer Harrison Peck approached James about adapting his idea for a story about a old-timey Fleticher Studio type cartoon character (Arthur) and his best friend a handheld radio (Boom Boom) coming to the realization that they are trapped in a eternal loop of death and rebirth, dying over and over and reborn into different settings and adapting different roles and personalities each time. Think Groundhog Day/ Edge of Tomorrow crossed with old Betty Boop and Popeye cartoons then you have Author and Boom Boom!

Rob Ford (2014)
James' first attempt at a zine. Rob Ford collects a series of Portrait James did of the former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, made with ballpoint pens and whatever material James could get his hands on as he worked at a factory in the earlier half of the 2010's
James' first attempt at a zine was this collection of portraits of Rob Ford he made while he was still working at a factory.

This is James' first solo attempt at crowdfunding a printing so there is a learning curve, but he is working his friends and past creative partners who have successfully funded and completed multiple crowdfunding campaigns and is following their advise through the process.
