Hi, we are The Kalang River Forest Alliance. NSW Australia.
We are a completely voluntary group of local residents & community.

We don't receive any funding outside of private donations and community fundraising. Please get on board and help us to fund our running costs so that we can save Oakes Forest from the chop that’s now set for 15th September !!

We need money right now to pay for ecology surveys, petrol, camping equipment, cameras, stationary, printing, tshirts, phones, meetings, and water tanks.

A $50 donation will help with fuel costs to drive up to Oakes Forest to keep our Eyes on the Forest.
We go up every day.
$100 will help us to buy another 4 tshirts & have them printed.
$250 will help us to get a GoPro & tripod.
$500 will set us up with some fresh water at camp.
$1000 will help towards some of an ecology survey.

Please visit our webpage to see all the info and other ways that you can help. https://kalangrfa.org

We are simply a group of Kalang locals, passionate about saving the Kalang forests and all the koalas & wild life. These amazing forests are so close to ancient Gondwana forests. All these forests are the home to lots of koalas, yellow bellied gliders, glossy black cockatoos, lyre birds, spotted quoll and so many other rare and endangered loved Australian animals.

We started in 2016 to defend the forest from logging.
We've held off any logging for years now, however, it has been relentlessly pursued as it’s a huge old forest with grandmother trees. Oakes is the Jewel in The Crown of state forests that is inside the boundaries of the Great Koala National Park.
